Laitila's Imperial Stout has become a classic thanks to its numerous competition successes. Despite its strong alcohol content, Imperial Stout is a balanced and tasty entity. The color of the beer is almost pitch black and the aroma emphasizes strong roastiness. The nuanced aromas of chocolate, licorice and vanilla emerge in the beer's multi-stage flavor profile, which is complemented by strong hops. In order to create a lush fullness, five different malt grades have been used in the production of Imperial Stout.
